Working From Home

The big advantage of my job is I get to 'work from home'. Working from home is cool because you get to wear pyjamas all day and watch Dr Phil.

I do occasionally have to attend meetings, for which I have a webcam & headset and Google Talk.

Today I had a planning meeting with the CEO, the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Technical Director, and the Support Manager, so I dressed formally:

I am so amusingly lame. And yes, for the whole meeting they saw TOBYtoby the Lego Viking on the webcam.

Oh, and of course I have Lego readily at hand for such formal engagements.

Have you seen Lego Factory?

You can create your own custom Lego set - there's software for designing your model and then they package it up as a proper Lego set.

I got the Viking Ship for Xmas. Best Xmas present since for ever! Totally relived my childhood constructing Lego on XMas morning.

Oh, and you look so sad and/or surly in that photo! But Gold * for spelling.

me surly? nah.

i would just love a big box of every colour bricks, no fancy pants components for me. i love my pixels...

Yeah, I always loved those massive block sets ... so much fun to build amazingly pixelated sculptures.

Kids these days with all their fancy pieces!

I remember when if you wanted a Lego horse you had to make it yourself from its components pieces ... nowadays they come in the box.
