That's so delightfully Aussie.Mr Gill said the men are maintaining good spirits and having "cheeky conversations" with the rescuers. He said Mr Russell had resigned since being underground, and asked for the Saturday newspaper to look for a new job.

you're right - he would certainly qualify as the office whinger. and what kind of rank incompetence got him stuck down a mine to start with? he should be fired for "operational reasons" ie. precipitating rescue efforts during work hours is bad for productivity.
