Saved by the bell

Worst. Weekend. Ever.

Being just a little bit melodramatic, but not the most fun I've ever had.

But the good news is that ended nicely last night after an awesomely sunny day, with some most excellent food and a beautiful woman.

I'm sorry you had a tough weekend. It isn't half going around, but I agree, the weather is gorgeous, and soon the peoples of Melbourne will be smiling/robustly randy/enjoying picnics.

Picnics! I declare that we should have a picnic the minute spring starts.

(Thanks Bonnie)

picnic! Just you wait.

There will be Hendricks (cucumber infused gin). Oh yes.

There will be croquet. Yes, yes there will.

I'm gatecrashing. I hope that's ok.

ps I too am sorry about your shitty weekend and glad that the love of a beautiful woman cheered you.

I think it's spriiiiing (I think that's how you spell it when you're saying the word exuberantly?) already, actually. The signs are here already. I have started getting hayfever. The magnolia trees in Gertrude Street are flowering. I got laid yesterday. The only final sign I need is for the scent of jasmine to waft through the sidestreets and laneways of Fitzroy.
