I had to take Nurofen Plus this morning in order to get to work. My training has gone up a notch and I can barely move my arms. On top of that I slept very badly, which is a symptom of overtraining. Resting today instead of going to boxing class as I was planning because I am stupid but not dumb.
On to the Zeitgeist:
- Blogger is in Beta ... except you need to create a new account.
- The great cataclysm:
A giant meteor crater was discovered in the Jordanian desert, suggesting some terrible disaster that took place in this area back in the Stone Age. According to the scientists it was precisely this cataclysm that gave rise to the Sumerian end of the world legends and to the Biblical version of Apocalypse.
- A very sharp needle. It's made of atoms.
- SPIN, amazing film by Brian Springer on TV as social control - the consent in the force/consent*
- Iran's Prime Minister has a blog. "Oh Almighty God, please, we beg you to send us our Guardian- who You have promised us- soon and appoint us as His close companions".
- Apparently the Prime Minister's blog but is spreading malware with it, albeit only to IP addresses that come from Israel. Ah ... eJihad!
- I wonder if you can send eJihad eCards?
- Google Maps Flight Sim. Minutes of fun.
- Bildungsroman. " A Novel of Education/Formation".
- I love the German language. It's like Lego for language. Building blocks for bigger, better concepts. Götterdämmerung, anyone?
- Bid to solve riddle of ‘natural resistance’ to HIV Researchers are launching a project to discover how certain people, dubbed “elite controllers”, are successfully able to fend off the HIV virus without using drugs
- Poor Decisions Made Permanent:
- A spacecraft taking off from a private West Texas spaceport being bankrolled and developed by Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos would take off vertically, but unlike NASA’s space shuttle would also land vertically, according to an environmental study that offers a glimpse into the secretive plans.
- I for one, can't wait to leave this forsaken rock ...

Sprechst du Deutche, Toby?
Meiner Leiblings worte (auf Deutche, naturlich) war die Originalworte fur "velcro".
(This is where I can't be bothered thinking about the vocab any further)
It was a cobbled together word that was (something along the lines of) device that fastens using hooks and loops.
salut tobyTOBYtoby
no smurfs in your garden like vic and I were going to do but today AJ and I went treasure hunting through the lanes and I ended up in one where I saw a Mbike and I put a flower on it. A pink daisy. How hippy.
It was all I had.
elaine, I don't speak German, but I topped the class in Grade 8 and can pretty much work it out when I read it.
And that IS my bike! Haha!
I think the flower must have blown off, because I didn't notice it...
well you have the photo for evidence of the flower.
I presumed it was yours as we wound up round the back of Vic's house, and after decorating her house with daisies, we moved onto your bike. Next time we'll do daisy chains.
nice number plate EZ boy!
