On Monday I woke up indignant.

So did John: Howard 'very angry' over Hicks delay.

No shit.

We're seeing a very gradual ramp in the rhetoric around David Hicks. None of which is because of concern for David, but because of the increasing political liability the issue is having. The whole thing disgusts me.

And don't even get me started about the whole "pawn sacrifice" with the resigned minister over the Burke "scandal". I mean, could the manoeuvre be any more obvious?

This from a government of ministers who have presided over some of the most nefarious deeds perpetrated while in office (Tampa, AWB, refugees, Illegal Invasion, Sex with Donkeys).

And I want to get Ruddock out. I want him to resign and take a plum diplomatic position somewhere in Europe. Don't laugh, it's the most severe punishment you can get in the Liberal Party.
