The gig was ... short!
Guitar string broke about half way through, and no replacements. Given the crowd was just friends we gave up (I would have kept going, but anyway). Although Tommy and I did a stellar impromptu rendition of Death From Above 1979.
But let me assure you what we did play was gold.
And I wore my white terry-towelling head band because I am all about the 80s.
Oh, and note to self: the joke "Ending the gig prematurely is like making love to a beautiful woman" is not that funny, particularly when said in front of cute accordion girl ... way to sell yourself, Tobes.

Toby Toby Toby, you weren't a boy scout were you?
On a positive note, the white terry headband are all the rage again these days... Wow. Headband, quarter-life crisis... you're right up there with the cool kids, aren't you?
I did scouts for two weeks but it involved running around in the outdoors and getting dirty and stuff. I hated it.
But, I have backups for my snare skin and many spare drum skins.
Yeah, but very much not cool.
at least you got to soak up the lovely ambience that is the brunswick.
White terrytoweling headband? Hang on Toby, you sure you're not Jaimie from Big Brother? ;-)
